CCRC: Corporate Community Relations Council
Improving the quality of life through corporate community involvement
In today's competitive corporate environment, community relations has become an
important business function. For the busy community relations professional, that
means organizing programs with an eye towards maximizing the benefits to your company
as well as the community.
Since 1983, the Corporate Community Relations Council (CCRC) has been Houston's premier
organization dedicated to improving the quality of life through corporate community
involvement. As a member, CCRC will provide you with an array of networking opportunities
and the chance to learn from representatives of some of Houston's top businesses. Membership
will also serve as a valuable resource in all aspects of your personal and professional
development.
CCRC fosters the professional development of community relations professionals.
CCRC provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on community needs, volunteer management, and special event coordination.
CCRC holds regular monthly membership meetings and sponsors special projects during the year.
CCRC keeps its members abreast of local and national volunteer trends through its association with Volunteer Center of Volunteer Houston, the National Council on Workplace Volunteerism and Points Of Light Foundation.
CCRC provides mentoring and referral services to its members.
No matter what your expertise or experience level, the CORPORATE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COUNCIL
has a membership plan that's right for you.
